Saw Bench 1400w Emtop x BMS14007

EMTOP X BMS14007 1400W Saw Bench - A high-performance cutting tool designed for professional and amateur users with the ideal combination of power and accuracy. Thanks to the engine of 1400 watts, this saw is ideal for cutting various wood and similar materials. Ergonomic design and sustainable construction are suitable for long-term use and provide high efficiency in both workshops and construction sites. The fast and accurate cutting capacity of the bench facilitates the work process and increases productivity. It is possible to easily adjust the cutting angles, which gives the user a wide range of applications in various projects. Maximum control and security is provided during the use of non-slip capture, security caps and hard base. This model, which is produced in accordance with the EMTOP brand quality standards, is an ideal choice for longevity and reliable performance seekers.

Capabilities / What It Can Do

With those specs, here’s what this saw is capable of:

Cutting wood (and suitable softer metals like aluminum) up to ~55 mm thickness, width up to ~120 mm. Good for boards, planks, framing, trims.

Making angled (mitre) cuts from 0° to 45° both left and right. Useful for crown moulding, frames, trim work.

Making bevel cuts (tilting the blade) up to 45° on the left side. So it supports compound cuts (mitre + bevel) on one side.

Reasonably high no-load speed (5000 rpm) helps with smoother cuts, less burning on wood, and a fairly clean finish especially if the blade is sharp.

Suitable for home workshops, hobbyists, light to medium usage in carpentry or renovation tasks.

Advantages

Good power for its class: 1400 W is solid for many domestic and semi-professional tasks.

Versatility: Both mitre & bevel cutting capability, wide angles (0-45°), helpful for a range of work.

Decent cutting width & height: Allows you to handle planks or boards of moderate size without moving to a larger saw.

Inclusion of essentials: Comes with TCT blade (so you don’t have to buy blade separately immediately), extra carbon brushes, dust bag.
Aluminum base gives better stability, less vibration, more durability than cheaper plastic base models.

Limitations / What to Be Aware Of

Bevel adjustment only to one side (left) — if you need bevel cuts to the right, this could be a limitation.

The maximum dimensions (55×120 mm) are not huge; if you need to cut very wide or very thick stock, you’ll need a larger or more powerful saw.

For heavy duty use (e.g. lots of hard wood, extended continuous work), the motor might heat up; carbon brushes will wear out (but spare set comes included).

No mention in sources of advanced features such as laser guide, LED cutting line, or soft start — such features are often useful in more expensive / professional models.

Transport / weight: likely not super lightweight, so moving around frequently might be less convenient.

Safety & Usage Tips

Always wear safety glasses / goggles, hearing protection, gloves.

Ensure the blade is sharp, correctly installed, and the arbor nut properly tightened.

Always unplug or disconnect power when changing blades or doing maintenance.

Use the dust bag (or dust collection) to reduce sawdust accumulation — helps visibility and reduces hazards.

Clamp the workpiece securely so it doesn’t move during cuts.

Let the blade reach full speed before cutting; don’t force; push steadily.

Check for kickback hazards; keep hands clear.
